Holiday wishes do come true…
The story isn’t as good as the photos.
Tomorrow I pack my bags and drive west to the small city of Fort Bragg on the Northern California coast. I expect crippling storms, port, clams, punishing alcohol consumption and some production out of my self. I fell into the asphalt face first the other night walking home from Nimshew Cemetary with John Ringer. Don’t ask me why we were there. Let’s just say we partied mountain boy style. I look like the Elephant Man. William Hurt goes off.

God only knows what the masters of sodomy are up to right this second. There is a good chance I’ll be seeing John in New York in January, and there is a really good chance I’ll be seeing Mark later this week. Mike Hamm snapped a photo of the SNEAKY BOYS the other day. Looks like they’re friendship is still mountainous as the M in hoMo.
Mark, can I stay with you in Oakland in 2009? Just for a couple days?
Last night I inched by Casey’s SLEEPERS in one of the most epic fantasy weeks in Football history. Case, you’re one hell of a competitor, and we had an interesting year of trading, shit talking, Sunday buddy parties, super deals on pizza, n%#@ holes, ghost ridin’ the Monte Carlo, piano moves, and 100% friendship. There is one thing though, I am manager of THE E.P. CANNON and that means that I blow up daily. Read it one more time. SWALLOW THE KEY TO THE HOUSE OF PAIN BUD! HOOHAA!

‘Tis all. Happy Winter Solstice — celebrate the thousand lotus petals crowing the Third Eye of Horus.
I’ve been sick with a flu/cold hybrid since Saturday. Body needs some downtime. I guess I’ll take it easy. Read a book. It’s supposed to snow today.
Merry Christmas. This is the final Metawitch Mixtape of 08, and the best of the year. Hope you enjoy and Happy Holidays.

Recorded Dec. 12th 2008

Here are two songs Brian Zarin and I recorded back in 2002 or 2003 living on Grace St. in Hollywood. Brian wrote the music, I sang. I’m really glad I still have these songs, maybe someone else will like them too.
Tracklist:
1. The Ether
2. Promises Always Bend
1. Slay the slayer. Which is my reality, conditioning, adulthood, habits, basically everything human about myself. I love Dune.
2. Astral Projection. It’s cheaper than text messaging, and I have to talk to people far away from my dungeon in Los Angeles. I really need to hone my skills here and get real. Just imagine visiting those you care about in their dreams. Jeez, that’s really something.
3. Play Heavier Riffs. Matt Pike just sold me on playing riffs at 40, so why not. Fuck being an actor, I’m just going to head bang. And then sing songs that make people cry if I can and if not just scream and cry my self to sleep.
4. Fall In Love. Yea why not.
5. Beat Final Fantasy XII. Yea, turn on some Jacula and play with magic. Fenix Down!
oh and:
5.2 “I don’t know, I don’t care, yep.” Say that to someone who is asking me something, someone who really cares about my opinion. Thanks Sam.
Having become indifferent to objects of perception, the pupil must seek out the Rajah of the senses, the Thought- Producer, he who awakes illusion. The Mind is the great Slayer of the Real. Let the Disciple slay the Slayer. [Voice p. 1-2 ULT-edition ]
Withhold thy mind from all external objects, all external sights. Withhold internal images, lest on thy Soul-light a dark shadow they should cast. [Voice p. 20]
- Helena Blavatsky
High On Fire still wears the crown as the best metal band on Earth. I don’t know their latest album, but their set ruled none the less and I am a happy camper with a fucked up neck and bats ringing through my ears. Matt Pike is a god.
