AKASA . THE LIMNIAD
This video was originally titled “Endangerment”. The piece was shot the winter after my graduation from California Institute of the Arts, and it represented the passage of time, and the unknowings of the future before me. The title was later changed, and my band Akasa adopted the video and combined it with our song “The Limniad”

Agondonters
This video was a collaboration between artist Travis Cota and myself. I wanted to experiment with light, color and texture in an organic sense, the way a painter has a relationship with his canvas. The canvas inside the canvas so to speak, almost trapping the artist in his work. Travis Cota is a very unique person, and is quite maniacal in his approach, but I tried to distance the personality from the film, and only exploit the material without showing a finished piece in any shape or form. The movie served as a video installation at Cota’s show at a Vice Magazine sponsored art show in 2005.
BLACK METAL GARDENING
A tongue in cheek experimental piece. No explanation neccessary.
